It is important that you own your own domain name, that it is registered in your name.
Customers are not expected to know about hosting details and other technical aspects of a website. This can all be arranged on your behalf with as much information or as little as you prefer.
A hosting service is provided by Curious Works on a Virtual Private Server (VPS), capable of running more powerful websites ie ecommerce/database driven websites.
Hosting is provided at the rate of £4 per month and clients have full access control over their domain, web statistics and more.
Customers are entirely free to choose any hosting service for their website however it is advised that one providing access to a MySQL database and running PHP5+ is selected.
